Together, they blend storytelling and live music to capture the spirit of U2 and invite you to experience the magic of this extraordinary band in a truly special festival atmosphere.

Betterov: „Goldener Retriever“
Musician Manuel Bittorf, aka Betterov, presents his debut novel: Two men leave the provinces of eastern Germany for Berlin, full of expectations that collide with the sheer force of the big city. With a keen eye for everyday moments and a distinctive, at times piercing melancholy, Bittorf tells a story of hopes and the search for a place in life. During the festival weekend, you can discover Betterov as an author: a reading with a special atmosphere that invites you to immerse yourself in his world and simply listen.

Maik Brüggemeyer & Jan Jekal

Jan Jekal and Maik Brüggemeyer, two voices from the podcast Rolling Stone Weekly, read from their latest books and interview each other about origins and exile, home and alienation, literature, film, and pop culture.
In his non-fiction book Paranoia in Hollywood, which was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize, Jan Jekal tells the story of European artists and intellectuals who fled to California from the Nazis — only to find themselves under suspicion in America during the “Red Scare.” A story that reaches all the way into the political present.
Maik Brüggemeyer’s tragicomic novel Wie jeder weiß, ist das hier das Nirgendwo takes us back to the provinces: A cultural journalist returns, decades later, to the place he once desperately wanted to leave, only to realize that the utopias promised by pop culture remain out of reach.

When the last note has faded away on the stages, it's time for the after-show party! This year Dagny Danger & DJ Radieschen will be on the turntables on Friday, and on Saturday DJ-Duo Gold Soundz will bring the festival to a perfect end.
