The Sherlocks
If four young people from the north of England give themselves a band name that begins with "The", you can guess what tradition they are in. The Sherlocks, led by the brothers Kieran (vocals) and Brandon Crook (drums), can be carried away with all the indie rock background but also with wide-legged pathos, “whoa-oh-oh” chants, and rock bombast do not dare their companions. The quartet from Yorkshire sounds neither provincial nor like a rehearsal room, their hymns call for big stages. Fortunately, the venues are growing with their steadily increasing success.
