With her first album, "No Burden", Lucy Dacus was celebrated as one of the most talented young songwriters in 2016. She usually performs her folk-rooted songs alone with the electric guitar - all the more exciting that she will be a guest at ROLLING STONE Beach with a band. In the same year Dacus performed at the Lollapalooza Festival and signed a contract with the renowned New York label Matador. "Historian," the musician's second album from Richmond, Virginia, was released in 2018 and made it to the top of the leaderboards. This record was also made in Nashville in collaboration with Dacus ‘musical partner Jacob Blizard, who dresses her touching songwriting and warm timbre in grandiose arrangements. Also in 2018 an EP with colleagues Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker was released under the ironic name boygenius.
